Except for the ladies (Marni and Karla) that work at Heartland Hardware the management and owner of the establishment of something to be desired. Rob Van Egdom the so called manager and part owner, as he’s describe himself as both is a very dishonest and untrustworthy person. The hardware store is nothing at all like when Terry owned the store. If I have to advise people where they should go to buy their supplies I would have to say just drive to Rock Rapids, go to ACE Hardware and work with Alvin. You may have to drive 15 mile further but at least you will be dealing with an honest person. So I would not recommend shopping at Heartland Hardware in George, Iowa. Way over priced and untrustworthy management.
